We chatted with the former UConn star after one of his final Summer League games.
Adama Sanogo has had a fairly successful run in Las Vegas thus far.
After averaging 9.0 points and 8.3 rebounds through four games and signing a two-way contract, he’s demonstrated why the Bulls have placed enough faith in him to put him on their G League roster and keep him available for NBA games this upcoming season. It seems like a fairly good situation.
The Fast Break had the opportunity to briefly catch up with Sanogo after a recent game. We discussed why he chose the Bulls, what it’s like to make the jump to the pros, and how he talks with Dan Hurley and others on the UConn coaching staff regularly.
