UConn Baseball season over
Two rough losses knocked UConn baseball out of the NCAA Tournament in the regional round.
After winning their opener over Michigan, the Huskies got blown out by top-seed Notre Dame and then lost an elimination matchup against Central Michigan. It was a disappointing end to the season but UConn still won the Big East Tournament and regular-season titles while Kyler Fedko earned All-American honors and was named Big East Player of the Year.

Parting Thoughts
UConn baseball is really up to something. They’ve made the NCAA Tournament three times in a row and are poised to return next year. On top of that, the crew of Huskies making waves in the MLB and minor leagues is growing every year. With all this momentum and a beautiful, brand-new ballpark (where they currently have a 16-1 record), this program is likely to break through with some even better seasons down the road!
The future is bright. This year, Kyler Fedko, Ben Casparius, and Pat Winkel are likely to get drafted but plenty of talent returns next year. Be sure to check out a game next season at Elliot Ballpark!
